A fire was reported at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s house in Chappaqua, New York, on Wednesday afternoon. The fire was quickly extinguished.
The fire was reported at roughly 2:50 p.m. at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s house in Chappaqua, where they have lived for roughly 20 years after purchasing the house for $1.7 million in 1999.
Scanner reports suggested it was a bedroom fire, which has been extinguished.
The Clinton’s house was built in 1889 and features five bedrooms that amount to well over 5,000 square feet, as well as a pool on the Clinton’s 1.1 acre property.
In October, the Clintons reportedly got in trouble for not having a permit for a kitchen renovation and to fill in the in-ground pool.
Reports have suggested that Hillary Clinton was mulling over creating a role for herself in the 2018 midterm election.
“She’s the human personification of what the split in the country is,” said one Clinton associate. “And look, she understands what that means and what that means for her. She’s very attuned to what’s going on. She’s not confused about it. She has some people pulling on her to be involved and others who are saying, ‘maybe not.’”
President Donald Trump suggested that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should prosecute Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, and James Comey in response to new reports that revealed several Clinton figures mishandled secure data.
Trump tweeted on Tuesday, “Crooked Hillary Clinton’s top aid, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents.”
