An American tourist was taken into custody Thursday after allegedly walking around an airport in Thailand naked and throwing feces at airport employees.
A video of the incident shows the tourist wandering around naked, screaming incoherently, and smashing items in an airport shop at Phuket International Airport in Thailand.
The New York Post reports that the tourist, Steve Cho, 27, of New York, had been waiting for his flight to Incheon, South Korea, on January 4 when he stripped naked in the airport’s departure hall.
Six security guards eventually stopped the man and brought him to an area out of the way of passengers before airport police arrested him, the Daily Mail reports.
Cho reportedly told officers after he calmed down that he overdosed on Viagra and lost consciousness.
After authorities brought him to the police station, they sent him to a local hospital to undergo a full medical evaluation, including a psychiatric assessment.
The tourist reportedly apologized for his rampage and offered to pay for any damage he caused in the airport.
