A suspect who allegedly attempted to rob an Indianapolis, Indiana, convenience store was shot dead by armed customers.

Fox 59 reports that the incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Police say the unidentified suspect drove to the store in a stolen car and customers shot at him multiple times when he allegedly attempted a robbery.

The Indianapolis Star reports that the suspect was transported to Eskenazi Hospital and pronounced dead.

Police believe that two customers shot at the suspect and are trying to ascertain which customer fired the shot that proved fatal.

On June 9, 2017, Breitbart News reported on a suspect who attempted to rob a store in Brazil where everyone was armed. The suspect faced four armed men inside the store and collapsed to the floor after being shot.
