Cybill Shepherd on the 'War on Women': 'My Mother's Scared for Me'

Actress Cybill Shepherd fears she may be the next, or rather first, casualty in the so-called GOP War on Women.

Shepherd, best known for her work on “Moonlighting” and in “The Last Picture Show,” wrapped up an appearance on “CBS This Morning” today with a rant against those who would take abortion and birth control away from women.

Straw men, to be precise. And she fears she might get taken out by said straw men before she can fully speak her mind.

“Abortion is our constitutional right,” she said before vowing to “march on Washington” to stand up against those GOP bullies. But she wonders if she’ll live to tell the tale.

“I’m not going to wear a bulletproof vest. My mother’s scared for me,” she confessed.
