Ah-ten-tion! Win 'Full Metal Jacket' on Blu-ray

Director Stanley Kubrick’s 1987 film “Full Metal Jacket” gave pop culture so many quotable lines – many not suitable for reproduction here – that it feels like just another cult classic from the ’80s.

The film is so much more, starting with R. Lee Ermey’s blistering turn as the drill sergeant from Hell to those harrowing war-time sequences only a master like Kubrick could deliver.

Now, Big Hollywood readers have a chance at winning one of two new editions of the 25th anniversary edition of “Full Metal Jacket” on Blu-ray. The new, two-disk “Jacket,” which arrives Aug. 7 in stores, features a 44-page book jacket, a 60-minute documentary on Kubrick and commentary by Big Hollywood contributor Adam Baldwin, Vincent D’Onofrio, R. Lee Ermey and critic/screenwriter Jay Cocks
