Sandy Hook Elementary Choir to Lead Off Super Bowl

The NFL announced today that the chorus of children from Sandy Hook Elementary School will lead off the Super Bowl on Sunday in New Orleans by singing “America the Beautiful.” Twenty-six children who survived the murderous rampage by Adam Lanza will perform on the field following Alicia Keys’ rendition of the national anthem.

This will surely be a tremendous experience for the children, and our hearts go out to them and their family. But beware the leftist media, which will undoubtedly use the opportunity not to grieve with the families of Sandy Hook, but to push a political agenda. If the behavior of Bob Costas is any indicator after the murder/suicide by Jovan Belcher of the Kansas City Chiefs, the left will not be able to contain itself on gun control.
