Bill Cosby: Our Culture is Hard Work, not Vulgarity

Students at Tuskegee University gave comedian Bill Cosby a standing ovation over the weekend for a speech in which he praised the value of hard work in society.

Cosby, a legendary entertainer and frequent critic on social issues, told the crowd at Sunday’s Tuskegee Homecoming Weekend why he focuses on social mores as well as laughter.

Vulgarity is not our culture.  It never has been.  Hard work has been our culture,” says Cosby.

Cosby says there needs to be a shift in society.  To do that, he says young people must respect themselves, children, and women.
