'Duck Dynasty' Family: 'Ready to Move on' from Controversy

In their first comments since patriarch Phil Robertson got suspended and reinstated by A&E for supposedly anti-gay remarks to GQ magazine, Duck Dynasty family members, Willie and Korie Robertson, said the family is ready to move forward in 2014.

Appearing on Fox News’s All-American New Year, Willie Robertson said, “A&E and us are fine.” He then noted that the family was “looking forward” to “starting all over again” filming the popular show. He said the family has “learned a lot” and is “happy” and “ready to go” back to work.

“We’re ready to get started,” he said. “We’re ready to move on.”

Korie Robertson said the best thing about the show is that the Robertsons get to film and do the show “together as a family.”

“So we’re all happy, happy, happy,” she added.

Korie Robertson said she “thanks God for our blessings” and mentioned that she believed if the country can “come back to that a little bit we can have a great 2014.” They said patriarch Phil Robertson was probably sleeping or watching Fox News in Louisiana because it is duck-hunting season. Willie and Korie Robertson were in Colorado for the new year.
