Snoop Dogg may have set off a smoke detector or two in his day given his affection for pot, but he made a few new fans when his hotel’s alarm brought the local fire fighters into his room.
An Australian fire brigade entered a Melbourne hotel early today and found rapper Snoop Dogg but no blaze.
The alarm call was sent automatically when a smoke detector went off, and when the response team arrived, they found the world-famous rapper opening the door….
He was pretty funny, a really nice guy. If you didn’t know that he was someone famous you would just think he was a really nice guy,” one of the crew, Tervor Bowen, is quoted as saying in Australian paper The Age.
The hotel says it does not know why the alarm in the rapper’s room went off.
Snoop Dogg is currently touring in Australia and reminded fans of his need for weed with the following Instagram shot sent out earlier this week:
