Russell Simmons Uses Philip Seymour Hoffman's Death to Support Ending War on Drugs

Russell Simmons wants the country to declare a ceasefire in the War on Drugs.

The hip hop mogul used his Twitter account today to connect the death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman to current drug laws.

Simmons argues that someone like Hoffman, who appears to have overdosed given the quantity of heroin found in his home at the time of his death, shouldn’t have been jailed for his addiction.
