Jim Carrey Tells Kids at White House Egg Roll: 'Eat Tons and Tons of Candy'

Actor Jim Carrey was invited to the White House Monday for the annual Egg Roll, but he strayed from the message of promoting healthy eating and exercise.

Carrey read out loud from his new children’s book How Roland Rolls, a story about a wave who realizes he’s part of the entire ocean.

“I hope you have a wonderful day today,” he said to the children. “Eat tons of candy. Tons and tons of it! A-lot-a-lot-a-lot-a candy.”

As the kids shouted back at him, he responded to a child who asked if they could eat candy day and night.
