WASHINGTON, May 29 (UPI) — Eva Green is apparently too sexy for the MPAA.
The Motion Picture Association of America has chosen to reject the 33-year-old actress’ promotional poster for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Green appears as her character Ava Lord in the picture and dons a sheer white dressing gown that is parted in the middle.
Page Six reports that the image was denied for “nudity.” The MPAA cites the “curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown” as grounds for rejection.
Movie distributor Dimension Films is reportedly working on a compromise with the trade association. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens August 22.
