Comic actor Robin Williams spoke openly about his personal demons, including a protracted battle with addiction. What many fans of the actor might not know is the close bond he shared with his half-brother, Todd Williams.
RadarOnline.com reports that Williams committed suicide almost exactly seven years after Todd’s death.
Robin’s brother Todd died on Aug. 14, 2007 at the age of 69 after complications from heart surgery he had a month earlier.
Nicknamed “Toad,” the elder man shared a close relationship with the Oscar-winner. They also enjoyed a similar sense of zaniness, although the film and TV star insists his sibling may have eclipsed him.
Robin added, “It’s in the genes. Toad was outrageous, maybe even more than me. Hard to believe, but it’s true.
