Alicia Keys Drops Ferguson-Heavy Music Video ‘We Gotta Pray’

Alicia Keys dropped a new music video for her song “We Gotta Pray” on Wednesday. 

The video includes heavy Ferguson-related imagery, including photographs of protesters holding up signs saying “Black Lives Matter” and “I Am a Man,” and police officers confronting protesters on the street.

The music video also contains photographs of notable civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, along with some of their most famous quotes.

Keys also couldn’t resist commenting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. A young girl can be seen early on in the video holding a sign saying “Ferguson with love from Palestine.”
