‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Actor Charged with Skinning, Eating Girlfriend’s Pet Rabbit

Actor Dimitri Diatchenko, best known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy and Get Smart, has been charged with killing and eating his ex-girlfriend’s pet rabbit. 

The actor is said to have taken graphic photos of the entire process and even threatened to skin and eat the woman upon her return to their shared apartment, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office told CNN in a statement on Wednesday. 

According to the District Attorney’s office, the two were living together after their relationship had ended, but the harmonious arrangement changed after the woman, who was not identified, informed him they “should no longer be roommates.” 

Diatchenko reportedly decided to kill the rabbit, named Miss Ella, while she was away. 

“While the victim was out of the house, Diatchenko skinned the pet, cooked it, and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did,” prosecutors told reporters. 

Diatchenko has been charged with felony counts including animal cruelty and making criminal threats. 

The actor claims he purchased rabbit meat at a local store, and the bunny in question, Miss Elsa, was set free. 

“This is all a misunderstanding,” he said in a phone interview, via US Magazine. “We got into an argument, but I didn’t kill the bunny. This was a hoax.”
