Attention Gentlemen: Sports Illustrated Announces 2015 Swimsuit Cover Model

Sports Illustrated is announcing Hannah Davis will appear on the cover of the 2015 Swimsuit edition.

While this marks Davis’s third time to appear in the Swimsuit issue, it will be her first time to grace the cover of the popular magazine.

“I’ve always enjoyed the whole Swimsuit experience and said that anything extra–a little square on the cover or anything like that–was a bonus,” said the 24-year-old model. “But still, this was my dream.”

Davis found out on Tuesday that she had made the cover through a prank by SINow.

“I told my mom there was no way I’d get the cover,” she explained. “I told her, ‘They do beaches for covers and I’m on a farm. There’s no way. It’s not possible.”

Comedian Jimmy Fallon made the big announcement on the Tonight Show Wednesday, but first took to Twitter for a teaser.

“The S.I. Swimsuit Issue is seen by more 18-24 year olds than the Super Bowl. Except nobody locks the door before the Super Bowl,” he joked.

The famous publication also revealed earlier this week they will be featuring a plus-size model for the first time; Ashley Graham.

“I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too,” said Graham. “There’s no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt.”
