Valerie Fairman, a one-time star of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant, was arrested for prostitution on Friday after police found her allegedly soliciting a sex act in New Castle, Delaware.
According to TMZ, the New Castle Police Department reportedly conducted a sting after receiving a number of complaints from citizens concerned about prostitution in the area.
That’s when police say the now 21-year-old agreed to perform a sexual act for money.
The young woman was detained along with six other suspected prostitutes during a joint operation conducted by numerous state and local law enforcement agencies, including the Delaware State Police.
Fairman’s has two prior arrests, according to US Weekly. She was arrested in 2011 for allegedly assaulting her adoptive mother, and again in 2012 for suspected theft.
Fairman appeared on season two of 16 and Pregnant.
