Jon Bon Jovi Throwing Fundraiser For Gun Control Candidate Hillary Clinton

On June 29, Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi will be hosting a fundraiser for gun control candidate Hillary Clinton.

Breitbart News previously reported that Clinton supports a ban on “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines, and claims that gun owners “terrorize the majority of people.”

According to North Jersey, the Clinton fundraiser will be held at an undisclosed location–attendees will be told the precise location once they are committed to attending.  “Prices range from $1,000 for open seating to $2,700 for priority seating.”

The Bon Jovi event will be Clinton’s “first fundraiser in New Jersey since launching her campaign” for president.

While this fundraiser is philosophically in line with other gun control candidates Bon Jovi has supported–think President Barack Obama in 2012–it is a far cry from the “$30,800 per person” fundraiser CBS News reports Bon Jovi held in his own home for then-candidate Obama in 2008.

Bon Jovi also campaigned for gun control candidates Jon Kerry and John Edwards in 2004. Getty Images reports that the rocker performed for Edwards’ “A Fresh Start For America Rally” on October 29, 2004,” in Raleigh, North Carolina.

JonBonJovi.tv reported that the Bon Jovi campaigned for gun control candidate and novice climatologist Al Gore in 2000.
