As his wife’s guest at a gay wedding over the weekend, pop singer Justin Timberlake ended up grabbing the mic and serenading a newly married lesbian couple as a wedding gift.
Us Weekly reports actress Jessica Biel attended the wedding of her college roommate Dana Panzer, Saturday June 27, and brought Timberlake along as her date to the Norwalk, CT ceremony.
Biel attended Tufts University with Panzer, who maried a woman named Amy Wicker, and while the ladies danced, Timberlake reportedly sat down at a keyboard and opened a special performance with his song “Señorita.”
“Imma start something, and all the fellas gonna look at the ladies, who just got married tonight. And all the ladies gonna look at the ladies, you know what I’m saying,” he said.
A guest said Timberlake “decided he wanted to put on a little concert for the two brides and he jumped on the stage,” and added, “It was awesome and so special for the brides and all the guests who were so impressed!”
Timberlake performed hits, including James Brown’s “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag,” while Panzer and Wicker danced.
“Throughout the night, Justin really let loose and he started dancing in the middle of the wedding circle having an amazing time dancing to this great band,” another person at the wedding told the mag.
Per Us Weekly, the wedding was planned prior to last week’s controversial Supreme Court ruling, which mandated same sex marriage as a constitutional right.
