Showtime has released the latest trailer for the upcoming original high-finance drama “Billions,” which will make its debut in 2016.

The trailer elaborates on a heated conflict between U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhodes (Paul Giamatti) and New York billionaire hedge-fund king, Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, who is being played by Damian Lewis (“Homeland,” “Band of Brothers.”)

According to Variety, “Billions” will revolve around “politics and power in the world of Wall Street and New York investment firms,” and delves into the “cost of the American dream.”

Showtime president David Nevins told the site earlier this year, “The dynamic star pairing of Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis is matched by an equally exciting team in the writing of this show.”

The network ordered 12 episodes of the finance drama in March. The show will debut on January 17.
