Comedian Jim Carrey was a pallbearer at the funeral of his late girlfriend, Cathriona White, in Cappawhite, Ireland.

White, 30, died of a suspected suicide on September 28 in Sherman Oaks, CA, shortly after her relationship with the comedian ended.

Authorities believe the young makeup artist took a cocktail of prescription drugs that belonged to Carrey; however, toxicology results might not be in for up to two months.

Carrey, 53, was photographed carrying White’s casket at the funeral Saturday. The Dumb and Dumber actor arrived in Ireland by private jet Friday, bringing his daughter with him.

Carry has been in close contact with the family since White’s death and reportedly offered to pay her funeral expenses. A photograph shows him alongside White’s sister Lisa.

During the service, White’s loved ones described her as “a small town girl with big dreams who was not afraid to follow them,” the Daily Mail reports.

“She followed them all the way to LA, and you could not get any bigger than that,” said her half-brother, Tadgh, during a tribute.

White’s stepsister, Sarah, said:

Anyone who saw her lurking around LA with a camera trying to capture the poor conditions in which the homeless were forced to live will know not just her love and talent for photography but also the desire that she had for the world to be a better place because she was in it, and it was.

White was buried beside her father, Pat, who died from brain cancer in 2012.

Rather than send flowers for the service, White’s family asked family and friends to donate to two charities on her behalf: the Simon Community, which works with the homeless, and the Circle of Friends, which supports people suffering from cancer.

Carrey tweeted a silhouette image Saturday of himself and White, writing: “Love cannot be lost.”
