As the November 13 terror attacks in Paris were still ongoing actor Michael Ian Black used them to mock U.S. gun laws and to wish that the number of Americans who die in shootings could be as small as the number who were reported dead in Paris.
Awful, awful, awful news in Paris. 18 shot dead.
If only we could get our daily shootings down to 18 here in America.

When he sent the tweet the number of reported deaths was 18. He wrote: “Awful, awful, awful news in Paris. 18 shot dead. If only we could get our daily shootings down to 18 here in America.”
But 18 was a preliminary number. According to AFP, police says there are approximately 100 dead at the Paris concert hall venue alone.
