In the wake of actor Brad Pitt’s co-chairmanship of the May 4 Brady Bear gun control awards gala in Los Angeles, Breitbart News thought it would be prudent to list just a few of the movies from which Pitt has made millions by toting guns.

The list includes a brief rundown of the guns used in each movie, with special attention paid to certain firearms that gun control proponents are so eager to ban.

Legends of the Fall (1994) – In this film, Pitt plays one of three sons who, along with their father, fought for life and love in the American west during the era of World War I. The Internet Movie Firearms Database (IMFDB) lists five different guns used by Pitt in this film, prominent among them the Winchester Model 1873, Colt Single Action Army, Holland & Holland Paradox shotgun, and the Luger PO8 9mm.

Se7en (1995) – In this film, Pitt plays a young detective hunting a serial killer. IMFDB indicates Pitt used a Springfield Armoy M1911-A1 pistol in the filming of Se7en. The 1911 is chambered in .45 auto and is one of the most popular handguns of all time.

The Devil’s Own (1997) – Pitt plays an IRA gunman who travels from Ireland to America in order to purchase firearms. Pitt uses an AK-47 in the film, along with a number of semi-automatic handguns and an old school revolver. IMFDB provides a list of the handguns, which include a Browning BDA .380, a Smith & Wesson Model 36, and a Smith & Wesson 5946, among others.

Ocean’s Eleven (2001) – Pitt plays armed con man Rusty Ryan, who joins in on an elaborate scheme to rob a group of Las Vegas casinos. IMFDB lists a Heckler & Koch MP5A4 as the gun used by Pitt in this movie. Heckler & Koch advertises the MP5A4 as a submachine gun that fires at an approximate rate of 800 rounds a minute.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) – Pitt plays a contract killer in this film. The number and variety of guns used in this film is pretty amazing. A list of the handguns alone include the Sig Sauer P229, Sig Sauer P220, Colt 1911A1 XSE, Heckler & Koch USP Elite, Walther PPK/S, Glock 17, and NAA Guardian.

Killing Them Softly (2012) – Pitt plays hitman Jackie in this poker game heist film. The promotional photo for the film shows Pitt holding a Mossberg pump shotgun. He also used a Browning Hi-Power and Smith & Wesson Model 36 in the film.

World War Z (2013) – This apocalyptic film features Pitt in full-on survivalist mode, during which he must use an arsenal of guns to shoot his way out of a zombie-infested world. He uses a Glock 17, Remington 700 bolt action rifle, and the Colt M4A1. The M4A1 is an AR-15; the semi-automatic rifle that is extremely popular among American gun owners but so highly criticized by gun control proponents seeking an “assault weapons” ban.

A bevy of Hollywood stars reportedly attended the Wednesday night gala, including Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, Michael Sheen, Jenna Fischer, Judy Greer, Linda Cardellini, Clark Gregg and Mae Whitman.

Also on hand were Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and former President Bill Clinton, who delivered a rousing 25-minute speech in which he called enacting gun control in the 90s “one of the greatest honors of my life.”
