The first trailer for Fox’s remake of the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuted online this week.
The trailer for the updated take on the classic horror/comedy hit gives viewers a first look at the new Dr. Frank-N-Furter, played by Emmy-nominated transgender actress Laverne Cox. The trailer also gives us a look at the updated Brad Majors (Ryan McCartan), Janet Weiss (Victoria Justice) and Riff Raff (Reeve Carney).
The film also stars Christina Milian, Adam Lambert, Analeigh Ashford and Ben Vereen. Original Dr. Frank-N-Furter Tim Curry is also back for this one, taking on the role of the narrator this time around.
Kenny Ortega (High School Musical) is handling directing duties.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is set to be released around Halloween, though Fox has not yet announced an official release date.
