Liberal documentary filmmaker Michael Moore pokes fun at theories surrounding the death of former White House Counsel Vince Foster in his new surprise film, Michael Moore in TrumpLand, which premiered Tuesday night in New York City.

As Breitbart News reported Tuesday, Moore released his latest documentary in two theaters in Los Angeles and New York City and on iTunes Wednesday just two weeks after filming his one-man stage show about the election at an Ohio theater earlier this month.

During the film, Moore takes aim at several popular criticisms of Clinton, including allegations that several people close to Hillary and her husband Bill Clinton over the years have turned up dead under mysterious circumstances.

“I hope she did kill Vince Foster. That’s badass,” he jokes at one point during the film, according to Showbiz 411’s Roger Friedman.

Foster was Deputy White House Counsel during the first year of Bill Clinton’s presidency. He committed suicide by gunshot on July 20, 1993, according to several investigations, though theories have continued to persist about his death.

According to early reviews, Moore’s TrumpLand film is less an indictment of Donald Trump than an impassioned plea for undecided voters and disaffected Bernie Sanders supporters to cast their ballots for Clinton.

In his review of the film, the New York Times‘ Neil Genzlinger wrote that those Moore fans hoping for a “rollicking, full-force attack” on Trump should “prepare to be disappointed.”

Meanwhile, Variety‘s chief film critic Owen Glieberman describes the hastily-assembled film as a “tossed hand grenade that doesn’t fully detonate.”

Michael Moore in TrumpLand will play at the IFC Center in New York and at the Laemmle Town Center 5 in Encino, California through the week. Moore has expressed hope that “millions” of people will see the film before Election Day in November.
