Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for its reboot of 90s television series Baywatch on Thursday.
The film sees Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stepping into the role of Mitch Buchannon, previously played by David Hasselhoff in the TV series.
From the looks of the trailer, the film will feature all of the TV series’ most enduring trademarks: sandy beaches, bikini-wearing lifeguards running on those beaches and muscly men chasing down bad guys.
Zac Efron also stars as gold medalist Matt Brody, who’s hired by the Baywatch crew to drum up interest and re-brand the lifeguard unit.
The reboot is directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) and also stars Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach and Jon Bass. Hasselhoff and original series star Pamela Anderson are also set to make appearances in the film.
Baywatch is out May 19, 2017.
