During an interview with Conan O’Brien on Conan, comedian and actor Bill Burr said he has little sympathy for failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, as she blew the chance to beat an easily beatable candidate in Donald Trump.

“I’m sick of people making excuses for her. She blew it,” Burr said, spurring a stunned silence from the studio audience.

“See that? Nobody thinks that, but she blew it,” he continued.”  Listen, she lost to a guy who said three things a week that would torpedo anyone else’s campaign. How do you do that? It’s like playing a football game where the other team throws 20 interceptions, and you still figure out how to blow it. At what point do you take responsibility?”

Budd continued to mock Clinton’s failed campaign, pointing out that many of “racist white guys” who supposedly voted for Trump must have supported Barack Obama in both 2008 and 2012.

In an appearance on Conan following Trump’s election, Burr confirmed that he had voted for neither Trump nor Clinton, but said he thought little would change in America under the Trump administration.

However, Trump winning was the “most outstanding thing I’ve ever seen,” he added.
