Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor went off on President Donald Trump in an interview this week, calling the president a “petty, petulant c*nt” and lamenting the divisiveness of American politics, particularly during the 2016 presidential election campaign.

In an interview with Rolling Stone to promote his upcoming book, America 51, the 43-year-old lead singer — also the frontman for the band Stone Sour — said it is “embarrassing” that Trump is president and added that he “can’t go away fast enough.”

Taylor pointed out an incident from the G7 summit last month in which Trump appeared to nudge aside the prime minister of Montenegro to get a better position for a photograph.

“I’m like, ‘Ugh, you petty, petulant c*nt,'” Taylor said. “Would you just f*cking get impeached already?”

The singer also went after those who voted for Trump in the 2016 race: “Was there a reason you wiped your a** with your f*cking vote, you bunch of d*ckheads? Good for you.”

Taylor told Rolling Stone his upcoming book, America 51: A Probe Into The Realities That Are Hiding Inside The Greatest Country on Earth, focuses heavily on Trump and the growing cultural divide in America.

“We’re on so many different pages socially, we’ve given to extremes. Why can’t we come to the center, where most of us are, and be able to talk?” he asked. “Instead, we put our backs against the wall and scream at each other. The book is me standing in the middle going, ‘You’re all f*cked. If you could get a little closer to each other, you’d not only see that you could talk instead of yell, you’d have more in common than you realize. Until that moment happens, it’s gonna be a f*cking nightmare.'”

Taylor added that though he supported Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the 2016 presidential race, the former Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, would have been a “f*cking godsend” when compared to having Trump in office. The singer also said that despite his outspoken political beliefs, he has only received blowback from “people who masturbate to Lee Greenwood songs.”

“Our country is not perfect, and I refuse to stand and give that credence any bullsh*t. It’s not true,” he told Rolling Stone. “Yet these people think that there are no flaws in it. If you can’t at least admit that there are issues, how the f*ck are you gonna fix the issue?”
