DC comics TV show Supergirl has become reliably left-wing over the seasons since it left CBS for the CW network and last night’s episode offered yet another Trump bashing aside with one of the characters saying that Nazis were angling to “make American Aryan again,” in a slap at President Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again.”
The MAGA ripoff line came as part of the CW’s big crossover event with its other comic book shows, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. In the story spanning all four shows, evil Nazis from the transdimensional “Earth X” — an alternate earth where the Nazis won WWII — have invaded Earth Prime to expand their Nazi empire, Newsbusters reports.
The Nazis land on our earth and interrupt the Flash’s (Grant Gustin) wedding to his love Iris West (Candice Patton) and a major fight ensues in the church. All the characters note just how much they “hate Nazis” as they battle the black-clad invaders. But later, as the superheroes take stock of the initial battle and determine where the Nazis came from, one character delivers a backhanded jab at Trump’s MAGA.
In the scene, the character Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh) snarks that the Nazi invaders are trying to turn American Aryan “again.”

The Flash: “Killers, heroes, then what?”
Felicity Smoak: “If I know my history, ethnic cleansing, world domination.”
Jax: “Make America Aryan Again.”
Caitlin “Killer Frost” Snow: “Which it never was.”
Iris West: “Hashtag ‘Melting pot.'”

Apparently the writers felt it necessary to note that America was never “Aryan” before, but the line was a clear jab at President Trump’s campaign slogan and a sly, agenda-pushing attempt to link Trump to Nazis.
This is not the first time the Supergirl TV show has infused left-wingery into its writing. Its season opener, for instance, essentially told conservatives they were stupid and shouldn’t watch the show, ridiculing those who disagree with global warming theories. The show also praised Obama’s press secretary.
Since its move to the CW, Supergirl has featured multiple episodes with a gay theme, and in one episode, the show also went after Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.
Supergirl star, Melissa Benoist, has even proclaimed the series to be a “feminist show.”
