Barnes: Rand Attracts Attention, But Libertarians Won't Be Majority In GOP

Weekly Standard Executive Editor Fred Barnes joined my and Tori Clark this morning on “Mornings on the Mall” on WMAL-FM in Washington, DC.  

When asked about the current popularity of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and whether his libertarian views, which he expressed in full-throated fashion this weekend on Fox News Sunday, are beginning to gain more favor in the Republican Party as a whole, Barnes suggested that despite the fact that “Rand Paul attracts a lot of attention,” ultimately the Libertarian wing of the Republican Party would not represent a majority viewpoint any time soon.
