CNN Continues Slam on MSNBC's Harris-Perry over Racist Attack on Romney Grandson

CNN is keeping the pressure up against MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry after her attack on Mitt Romney for having an adopted African American grandson.

On December 29, during her eponymous show, Harris-Perry introduced the topic of Mitt Romney’s newest grandchild. After the introduction, Harris-Perry and her panel made fun of Romney and the child. The baby is an African American adopted by Romney’s son, Ben, and his wife, Andelynne.

Harris-Perry and her panel heartlessly made light of the newest addition to Romney’s family and raised such a ruckus that Harris-Perry and her panel members attempted to apologize to defuse the situation.

The very next day CNN’s Don Lemon was quite positive that Harris-Perry went too far in her attack on the Romneys.

CNN wasn’t the only one. Fox News and Breitbart contributor David Webb also weighed in on Harris-Perry on Fox News.

However, CNN isn’t letting the controversy die. On December 30, CNN went after Harris-Perry once again.

CNN’s Fredricka Whitfield informed her audience that the controversy is not yet over. Pointing out that MSNBC parted ways with Martin Bashir and Alec Baldwin because of their controversial behavior, Whitfield said that “some are calling for Melissa Harris-Perry to be fired.”

Even Politico agreed that MSNBC seems to have been going off the rails of late, with Dylan Byers saying, “MSNBC seems to have become a hotbed for the untoward in recent weeks.”
