America’s “Paper of Record” apparently does not want to be on the record about exactly what it was those researchers stuck in the Antarctic ice over Christmas were researching. As we all now know, thanks mainly to alternative conservative media, the stranded Australian researchers are Global Warming believers who were there to document ice melt. In a Monday story about the logistics of the rescue, the Times completely ignores the Global Warming angle:
On Friday, Australian officials said the Chinese ship, the Xue Long, or Snow Dragon, had notified the authorities that it might be trapped by ice, one day after the Chinese used a helicopter from the ship to rescue 52 passengers from the Russian ship, the Akademik Shokalskiy, which had become trapped on Dec. 24. The passengers were scientists, tourists and journalists on a research trip, the Australasian Antarctic Expedition.
The fact that the Times seems worried about disclosing the Global Warming angle tells you just how sketchy the science is behind this massive, left-wing Climate Change hoax.
People who are sure of and can make a case for their agenda do not feel the need to hide information like this. And it is not just the Times covering up this angle. Much of the elite media have followed suit.
The fact that researchers who specialize in Antarctic ice found more ice than their research told them would be there is obviously news. Moreover, this revelation should be considered good news for those genuinely concerned about the melting of the polar ice caps. But if your political agenda is based on a hoax, you have to try to cover news like this up.
Look at the news today. Winter weather occurring in winter is treated like the apocalypse and temperatures not seen since 1996 are declared “record lows.”
This is the media having it both ways. Weather returning to pre-Climate Change-hysteria norms isn’t reported as good news or proof of a return to normal. It is treated as a crisis.
What a con job.
In other news, the amount of ice in the Antarctic is now at record levels.
