Following news of Army Spc. Ivan Lopez’s heinous crime at Fort Hood, defunct television personality Piers Morgan took to Twitter to mock the idea that “a good guy with a gun” would have made any difference.
Morgan sent this tweet on April 2nd:
'If only there'd been a good guy with a gun…' – such crap. This #FortHood soldier/shooter WAS a good guy. Until he turned bad, with a gun.

In sending this tweet, Morgan overlooked the fact that it actually was one of the good guys who led to the gunman’s demise. As Breitbart News reported on April 2nd, Lopez took his own life when a female officer confronted him with her gun drawn.
