Fox News anchor Sean Hannity went off on MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Twitter after the latter pundit accused Stephen Miller, an advisor to President Donald Trump, of “embarrassing” the White House with appearances on Sunday talk shows.

The social media feud began when Scarborough re-tweeted a post Sunday evening from President Trump, who had thanked Miller for discussing the legal aspects of the president’s recent executive action on immigration — and added his own critical commentary.

“I hope the president is talking about The Steve Miller Band and not that kid who embarrassed the White House this morning,” Scarborough wrote, adding the hashtag, “#SweatsLikeMarco.”

Hannity responded shortly afterward with a series of tweets in which he suggested Scarborough focus on improving his “horrific ratings” instead of attacking Miller.

The Morning Joe host did not respond directly to Hannity’s tweets but told Washington Examiner reporter Gabby Morrongiello that he found it wasn’t “worth the time” to respond.

Hannity then seized on that tweet to call for Scarborough to stop being a “bully” and invite Miller onto his show.

Scarborough kept up his criticism of Miller’s appearances on Twitter Monday, following the brief exchange with Hannity.
