Two-thirds of Israelis support peace talks; two-thirds believe talks will fail

From Tel Aviv University, which creates and monitors a “Peace Index“: 69.1% of Israelis either favor or strongly favor talks with the Palestinians; 67.0% either don’t believe or strongly don’t believe they will work.

That says a lot about where the peace process is right now–and about Israelis’ will to try, in spite of it all.
