Politico has a piece that features a quote from Obama talking about shooting skeet at Camp David.
“In fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time,” the
president told The New Republic. “Not the girls, but oftentimes guests
of mine go up there.
This is an odd choice of words. Skeet shooters say “they shoot skeet” or they shoot five-stand/trap/FITASC/skeet which makes me think that his guests may shoot sheet, but he doesn’t. It’s clear that Obama is out of touch with the community he’s trying to regulate.
It reminds me of this picture
when John Kerry was running for the presidency and tried to convince people he was a “hunter.” Notice how this experienced “hunter” grabs his shotgun barrel with his hand in such a way that he blocks his sight picture entirely.
