CBS Immigration Poll

In response to Relief? Obama rejects immigration deal–again:

According to a CBS poll only 51% of adults (yes, adults not voters or likely voters or high propensity voters) approve of a path to citizenship. The party ID breakdown is a little whacked at 25%R, 38%D, 37%I, which is another story entirely. I’m thinking that 51% is really lower if you looked at likely 2014 voters.

Obama may not be running for re-election again, but he is the defacto head of the Democrat Party. If he overplays his hand on the immigration issue and digs in, the Dems could be in trouble for 2014.
