“Sustainable” deficits = anything less than ten figures

In response to GDP contracts. Whom will Obama blame this time? (UPDATE: Of course.):

“Move toward a sustainable federal budget in a responsible way?”  This is the White House that thinks raising taxes to knock $60 billion off a $1 trillion deficit makes it “sustainable.”  Even when all sixty billion bucks are blown on a single “hurricane relief” bill.  

And I shudder to think of the price tag for all the new spending outlined in that Second Inaugural.  Does anyone remember a balanced budget appearing anywhere in Obama’s second term list of priorities?  Or, for that matter, GDP growth?

Also, we don’t have a “federal budget” at the moment, sustainable or otherwise, thanks to Obama and his Party.

It’s too bad nobody in this Administration seems terribly concerned about having a “sustainable” private sector.
