Obama's gratuitous attack on the Boy Scouts

You don’t have to support the Boy Scouts’ ban on gay scoutmasters to be alarmed that President Barack Obama thinks that topic is an appropriate area for intervention or comment. 

The Obama administration does not believe there are any limits to its reach–not football, not religious institutions, not the Cambridge, MA police department–nothing. 

And yet it has so little time or energy for what is within its responsibility–border control, embassy security, balancing the budget, et cetera. We are witnessing typical statism, and it doesn’t end well.
