Words, more words

Another zombie groan released in advance from the State of the Union speech:

“Tonight, I’ll lay out additional proposals that are fully paid for and fully consistent with the budget framework both parties agreed to just 18 months ago. Let me repeat – nothing I’m proposing tonight should increase our deficit by a single dime.  It’s not a bigger government we need, but a smarter government that sets priorities and invests in broad-based growth.”

Remember that when he comes to us in a year or two, and tells us he urgently needs to raise our taxes to pay for all the junk that wasn’t going to cost us a dime in February 2013.  And if we refuse, we’ll be just like a deadbeat who orders a big dinner at a fancy restaurant and refuses to pay the check.
