IRS Tax Exemption Exec Was Richly Rewarded For Her Efforts

Sarah Hall Ingram, the IRS official who was in charge of the tax exempt division during the time period it was harassing conservative Tea Party, evangelical and pro-Israel groups, and was later promoted to serve as director of the ObamaCare IRS office,  got more than $100,000 in bonuses between 2009 and 2012 for her hard work. 

The $92 million in  bonuses IRS employees got during that four year period average out to more than $5,500 per employee. Ingram got substantially more than that.

Ingram received a $7,000 bonus in 2009, according to data obtained by The Washington Examiner from the IRS, then a $34,440 bonus in 2010, $35,400 in 2011 and $26,550 last year, for a total of $103,390. Her annual salary went from $172,500 to $177,000 during the same period.
