(SCENE: Bruce Wayne exits City Hall. As he does, Jennifer Anniston (VICKI) pushes a microphone into his face.)

Any truth to the rumors that you are
this so-called “Bat-Man”?
BRUCE
Come on, lady. What do you want from me?
VICKI
I want the truth.
BRUCE
(winningly)
Would you settle for… dinner?
(SCENE: Bruce and Vicki are in formal attire, enjoying a spotlight dance in an immense elegant dance hall.)
VICKI
Ouch. You poked me!
(looks down at Bruce’s waist)
Is that a gun in your pocket or
are you just glad to see me?
BRUCE
It’s a gas-fired grappling-hook, actually.
(VICKI does a “Whhhaaaa….?” sort of look.)
