'Don't Tread On My ObamaCare?' Tell That to the 5-6 Million Americans Who Already Lost Theirs

In response to Democrats Steal Tea Party Symbol to Promote Obamacare:

Democrats co-opting the patriotic Gadsden flag to promote government-controlled healthcare is obnoxious on so many levels one hardly knows where to begin.

Let’s start with the gross hypocrisy aspect.  Democrats for years considered anything associated with the tea party “racist”, “extremist”, and “offensive” including the Gadsden flag.

Just last year, the Democrat-controlled city council of New Rochelle, New York had the Gadsden flag removed from the city’s armory because they considered it “offensive.”

Once council member compared the flag to the rainbow flag used to symbolize gay pride, according to local news website Talk of the Sound. Another has compared it variously to the Nazi flag, a Mickey Mouse flag and graffiti.

In fact, the defiant “Don’t Tread on Me” flag is a symbol of American independence and freedom.

“Don’t tread on my government-controlled healthcare?” Seriously? Do these fools not know more government control over our lives  = less independence and freedom? To be a Democrat in 2014 means to wake up every day in Opposite Land.

I know of  5-6 million Americans who would love to adopt the “don’t tread on my health care” motto, but unfortunately, it’s too late for them. Thanks to ObamaCare, their old health care plans have the government’s tread marks all over them.

What a sick, profoundly unfunny joke.
