The collection also takes you back to a time when Hollywood still used “The” in their titles.
Personally, I can’t stand McQueen’s The Thomas Crown Affair. It’s cold, dull and over-stylized. The 1999 remake with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo is that rare instance where the remake is not only better the original, it makes you forget about the original.
If I didn’t already own The Great Escape and the distributors switched out The Towering Inferno with Thomas Crown…
