A Texas grand jury handed down eight indictments in the sausage sodomy case where five Texas volunteer firefighters allegedly sodomized a male firefighter with a chorizo sausage.  A woman who allegedly filmed the sexual assault with her cell phone, and the chief and assistant chief accused of covering up the assault, have also been charged.

The five men were arrested in Ellis County, Texas, in April for allegedly sexually assaulting a new recruit with the sausage, as Breitbart Texas previously reported. Affidavits stated the man said the firefighters initially tried to assault him with a broom stick but ended up putting the broom stick between the recruit’s butt checks. The stick did not penetrate his anus. The arrest warrant stated that three of the men bent the victim over a sofa, took off his pants, and sexually assaulted him. WFAA-TV reported that when the firefighters let him go, he went into the bathroom and vomited. The men also stole his clothes when he went to clean-up and take a shower.

The event was videotaped and according to WFAA-TV, an affidavit states the video shows the firefighters “yelling and laughing with excitement.”

The firefighters have been charged with sexually assaulting the new recruit at the Emergency Service District Number 6 Volunteer Fire Department in Waxahachie, Texas. The incident is alleged to have occurred in January. The victim waited months, until March 31st, to file a report against the firefighters.

Fire Chief Gavin Satterfield (31), and Assistant Chief William “Billy” Getzendaner (34) have also been indicted. As reported by Breitbart Texas in April, legal records state that the officials knew about the sexual assault but told the alleged perpetrators and the recruit victim not to report the crime to authorities.

According to arrest warrants obtained by Channel5 NBCDFW, Chief Satterfield and Assistant Chief Getzendaner held a meeting inside their office with the five men and the victim. They viewed the video of the crime.

The arrest warrants stated that Getzendaner “laughed and chuckled stating he saw the video and made the statement ‘This is funny s—t.’”

The victim told law enforcement that Getzendaner followed up this statement with “We can’t be sticking chorizo up [victim’s] butt.” The recruit said that the prospective witness firefighters “laughed at his comments together.”

The arrest warrant also stated that Getzendaner “informed the prospective witness that [victim] could do something to ‘us’ and looked at [victim] and said ‘But you’re not going to.’” The warrant stated that “Assistant Chief Getzendaner told the prospective witnesses that this could be a Sexual Assault, to keep the knowledge of the sexual assault in-house, delete the video, and keep their mouths shut.” The recruit stated it was then that he knew neither the chief nor assistant chief were going to take any disciplinary action against the firefighters. Tampering with a witness is a felony of the first degree.

The Dallas Morning News has reported that the five volunteer firefighters have been charged with aggravated sexual assault and attempted aggravated sexual assault. Both of these crimes are felonies.

The five firefighters charged include: Keith Edward Wisakowsky (27), Waxahachie; Casey Joe Stafford (30), Midlothian; Preston Thomas Peyrot (19), Waxahachie; Alec Chase Miller (28), Waxahachie; and Blake Jerold Tucker (19), Midlothian.

Chief Gavin Satterfield and Asst. Chief Billy Getzendaner have also been charged. Both have been suspended from their positions.

The Dallas Morning News reported that Wisakowsky’s girlfriend, Brittany Parten (23) of Waxahachie, has also been charged with aggravated sexual assault and attempted aggravated sexual assault. She is accused of filming the sexual assault with her cell phone.
