According to a report by TMZ, the recent radical sex change operation for Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner may complicate his setting tee-times and where he grabs a sandwich and a cold one after his golf round at his posh county club tucked in the winding canyons above Malibu beach.
Many country clubs have very strict protocols regarding men and women golf tournaments, locker room facilities, and dining privileges. The Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, where Jenner has been a member for 15 years, is no exception, claims TMZ.
The online magazine and entertainment website said that the former home to Tiger Wood’s Northwestern Mutual World Challenge will enforce its rules excluding women, including Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner, from dining in its men only main dining room and bar.
TMZ suggested that former and more feminine decathlete may have to negotiate around male/female segregation rules on the course as well, which could put a crimp in Jenner’s weekly skins game with golf buddies, which include “The Great One” Wayne Gretzky.
However, in a press release from Sherwood Country Club obtained by Breitbart News, Stephen M. Wilson, Director of Membership & Communications at Sherwood, stated that the TMZ article is almost entirely false.
Wilson said that TMZ never contacted the club and it shows. He added that Bruce Jenner has been a valued and long term member of the club and is in good standing. Caitlyn Jenner will continue to be a valuued member of Sherwood Country Club enjoying all that it has to offer its members.
