An international team of 66 surfers broke the Guinness World Record for “Most People Riding a Surfboard at Once” this past weekend in Huntington Beach, California–also known as “Surf City.”

The massive 42-foot-long, 11-foot-wide, 1,300 pound surfboard is also expected to break a record for “Largest Surfboard,” pending confirmation from The Guinness Book of World Records, and will be displayed in Huntington Beach’s International Surfing Museum, according to Southern California Public Radio.

Professional surfers Brett Simpson and Lakey Peterson were reportedly among those present to break the previous record, which was set in Queensland, Australia in 2005 with just 47 people.

SCPR notes that the event took place on International Surfing Day and the board will be a feature during the Huntington Beach’s Main Street Fourth of July parade.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the board’s projected cost is between $70,000 and $90,000.

A California man with a 4-inch long tongue was recorded in the Guinness Book this past September.
