While Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Sears cut ties with the Confederate flag and refuse to sell it anymore, Bakersfield’s USA Supplies and Signs is still selling the flag–and selling so many it cannot keep them in stock.

On June 24, 23ABC reported that store owner Bob Reneau defends his decision to sell the flag by pointing out that the Civil War banner is “a piece of history.”

Reneau said his business sells out of the flags every time a shipment comes in. “We just got 150 today and we’ll be getting another 400 tomorrow,” he said.

He added, “Our intentions are just to sell flags. We only sell it because it’s a historical flag and it’s legal to sell.” He said he is sorry if that offends someone.

Breitbart News previously reported that Sacramento Flag Works halted all Confederate flag sales in its store. A Flag Works employee defended the decision by saying, “It’s just a real sensitive thing right now, you know, just don’t pour gasoline on the fire.”
