Officials from the Atlantic 10 and the Big East will review Saturday’s Cincinnati-Xavier fight and have the jurisdiction to hand out more penalties and could do so by Monday.
A bench-clearing brawl forced officials to cancel the final 9.4 seconds of Xavier’s 76-53 victory in the contentious crosstown rivalry game with the Bearcats. The No. 8 Musketeers moved to 8-0 with the win, while Cincinnati dropped to 5-3.
