'Bugger Off': FBN's Varney Calls America-Loathing Piers Morgan's Departure 'Good News'

On his Monday Fox Business Network program, “Varney & Co.” anchor Stuart Varney took aim at fellow British immigrant Piers Morgan, who on Sunday announced he was vacating his hosting gig during the 9 p.m. ET hour of CNN.

Varney described Morgan as one of the “British socialist imports” that doesn’t understand why things make America tick as it does.

“They have very little knowledge of what makes America tick,” Varney said. “And what they know, they don’t like. They don’t like guns or hot dogs or cheerleaders or American football, small-town parades, big cars, six-lane freeways, McDonald’s, country music … They come over here and proselytize for a failing, shrinking, and basically pagan society. And they expect us to listen and change. Well, we’re not.”
